Victoria Beckham, British designer and now newly appointed UN Aids Global Goodwill Ambassador has created a World Aids Day t-shirt to help raise awareness of the virus. All proceeds of the sale will go to the Joint United Nations Programm to support fight against HIV/AIDS, in hopes to end the disease by 2030.
Beckham was appointed Ambassador after she visited South Africa in August to promote awareness about the transmission of HIV and AIDS in young children. Before visiting Africa, she had donated hundreds of items of clothing to a nonprofit organization that supports mothers living with HIV.
The white t-shirt includes the red ribbon symbol, which raises awareness and support for those living with HIV. The shirts are available the whole month of December for purchase, for $140 or £90. Get the t-shirt online at VictoriaBeckham.com, or in her own designer store located in London. With your purchase of a t-shirt you will also receive a red World AIDS Day ribbon pin. Every donation counts, and for a adorable t-shirt, it’s a win-win! Help spread awareness for a good cause and look cute doing it!
