Day 6 of Paris Fashion Week debuted some stunning collections from each designer. Some of our favorite shows of the day were Givenchy, Chloe, Celine, and John Galliano.
Givenchy presented a very seductive collection filled with corset dresses, tight leather pants. and thigh high boots. Designer, Riccardo Tisci, wanted to create pieces similar to when he first started working at Givenchy 10 years ago, so he utilized cross motifs and lace combined with leather rock references. Chloe created a beautiful bohemian styled collection with soft, suede short and shirt combos, balloon sleeved blouses, and romantic, breezy dresses. She took an elegant approach to a comfortable and relaxed look. Celine showed us how much we need side buttoned flares and knitted tunics for this spring. This collection featured silk dresses, florals, A-line tunics, and exaggerated flares. Lastly, John Galliano delivered his exotic spin on the baby doll dress using bamboo and leafy prints. In addition to his 60’s silhouettes, he created loose and airy gowns, A-line coats, and polo dresses.
Every designer nailed the trends for spring, making us even more excited for this season! Check out our favorite looks from the day below and let us know what you think of these trends!
