We’ve reached Day 8 of our New York coverage, which of course marks the end of another amazing NYFW. The last few designers featured on Day 8 each presented wildly different collections: Dorin Negrau brought sex appeal, J.Mendel showcased showstoppers, Ralph Lauren beamed with sophistication, and Calvin Klein displayed fashion-forward and unconventional pieces. Here at Posh Point, we’re suckers for a good showstopper (fur capes anyone?), so our outstanding collection of the day goes to J.Mendel!
One thing these shows did have in common, though, was again at least one element of shine. While this has been shown through embellishments and metallics most commonly this week, today it was utilized by both Dorin Negrau and Ralph Lauren, through gorgeous statement necklaces and shone through button-ups that didn’t quite button up. We’re especially loving this fearless trend and all the others that have been established for Spring 2015 at NYFW!
