November Vogue: Natalia Vodianova

We have come to know and love the Vogue covers full of the familiar faces of our favorite celebrities but recently, Vogue is changing direction, and we are totally on board. The publication has been stepping away from mainstream celebrities and featuring other notable faces in the fashion industry, such as models.

November’s issue features famous Russian model, Natalia Vodianova. Natalia is no stranger to the Vogue cover and was featured on the cover of last month’s Vogue Paris as well as Vanity Fair. This blonde beauty is not only a model, but a philanthropist, an actress, a mother of four, and a face known around the world.

Although the focus of this spread seems to be on the beauty and allure of this historic building, the dresses modeled by Vodianova are definitely worth mentioning and appreciating. For the November Vogue issue, she models gowns by Valentino, Donna Karan, J. Mendel, and a noteworthy piece by the late, great Oscar de la Renta.

The spread was photographed by Annie Leibovitz, who artfully combined the dazzling setting, the graceful, almost dream-like dancers, and, of course, the ravishing Natalia Vodianova.

This collection creates the perfect combination of beauty, grace, elegance and allure — making for a Vogue a little different than what we are used to, but one we adore just as much.
