Milan Fashion Week Spring 2015: Day 5

Milan Fashion Week has brought so many unique and beautiful trends, it has us all so excited for spring! Some of the highlight shows from the day were  Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Marni, and John Richmond.

Dolce & Gabbana took inspiration from the Spanish for this collection with fabulously embroidered matador jackets and embellished, flamenco-style layered dresses. They created a sexy, yet romantic approach on these old Spanish classics. Salvatore Ferragamo focused on neutral hues and elegant silhouettes for his spring collection. He followed some of the same trends like cutouts, fringe, and fraying, but styled them in monochromatic shimmery natural colors. Marni showed us that beading and adornment are back. There were relaxed, vertical silhouettes that conveyed a sense of ease, from the pleated skirts to the oversized judo belts. Each look had a complete head-to-toe vibe, with the jewelry and embellishments on the pieces. John Richmond had a breathtaking take on sheer and textured fabrics. He debuted a very versatile collection of dresses, skirts, and flared shorts with matching jackets that will all make bold statements for this spring.

Check out our favorite looks from the day and be sure to let us know which trends you are loving for spring!
