If you are in need of a little extra motivation to get yourself to lace up your sneakers and hit the gym, just look at Mary Katrantzou’s new line of workout gear designed with Adidas Originals.
As expected, the collection features plenty of the designer’s bright signature prints. Her line includes everything you could really ever need to look stylish while still getting in shape. Katrantzou added her kaleidoscopic touch to sporty bomber jackets, neoprene dresses and sweatshirts, and the athletic brand’s signature sneakers. Taking inspiration from 1970s and 1980s track shoes, her Adidas Originals designs definitely fuse this classic structure with bright colors and a sense of futurism.
“The collaboration between Adidas and Mary Katrantzou merges the exceptional talent of one of the most interesting designers of today and a company that embraces many different cultures from sports, pop, music and fashion,” says Dirk Schoenberger, global creative director of Adidas’s sport style division.
The collection was announced back in April, but this is our first look at the pieces, and it is safe to say Katrantzou has found herself a place among the ranks of her predecessors, Stella McCartney, Raf Simons, and Jeremy Scott.
The collection hits stores and online November 15, but check out all the pieces below!
