London Fashion Week Spring 2015: Day 2

Day two of London Fashion Week certainly didn’t disappoint. So many designers debuted their stunning trends for spring, and we are already loving them.  Marchesa, House of Holland, Emilia Wickstead, and Julien Macdonald were some of the stand out shows of the day.

Emilia Wickstead, the queen of chic, presented her pastel silks with a more easy going type of couture. She featured relaxed silhouettes, oversized tunics, and tailored jumpsuits while staying with the trend of metallics as well. Julien Macdonald declared “the bum is the new thing” with his sexy collection of figure hugging shift dresses and amped up the sex appeal with his mini bodycons. Marchesa stunned with lace embroidering, bold prints, and like Emilia Wickstead, a less structured look, which is new for this label. House of Holland took a trip back to the 1970s and the vibrant floral prints took over. Henry Holland featured flirty shapes that created a fun look back at the decade.

So far we are seeing some of the same trends we saw during NYFW: sheer, cutouts, and metallics, but London is bringing even more trends for this spring and we can’t wait! The pastel hues, bold prints, and 70s influence are perfect for spring.

We’ve added some of our favorite looks of the day, so check them out below and comment to let us know which ones you love!
