On February 14th Alexander Wang debuted his Fall 2015 runway styles. Wang has been known to keep an eye on street style, and this season he went dark. When WWD asked Alexander Wang about the collection he shared “Our retailers are always saying, ‘Can we have the black version?… So I said, why don’t we just do an all-black collection?’”
His dark collection this season shines a light on day-to-day street style with hints of sophistication. Although his whole collection is not all black – he did feature two ivory sweaters, two red plaids (mirror RED Valentino’s Kurt Cobain inspired looks) and he also played with some metallic mesh. All of his materials and outfits gave off a goth vibe and was very aggressive. His models donned platform combat boots and wet, stringy hair. His looks this Fall are very wearable off the runway and here at Posh Point we love the collection!
