Diane Von Furstenberg Launches Capsule Collection For Net-A-Porter

If you ever had any doubts that Diane Von Furstenberg was an overachiever, 2014 proved it. Not only did she celebrate 40 years of her iconic wrap dress, write her own memoir, The Woman I Wanted to Be, and debut her E! series House of DVF; she launched a new capsule collection with Net-a-Porter.

The collection launched November 14th, and features a 13 piece line of 10 ready-to-wear outfits and three clutches as the perfect accessories. It includes halter dresses, jumpsuits, bright prints, florals, and of course the iconic wrap dress all with a 70’s rock and roll vibe.

“It is really about our strongest prints and our most iconic silhouettes. There is always something more you can do…it is a little bit like being a woman: Once you have established an identity and you know who you are, then there is more freedom to experiment,” she says.

This collaboration was a long time coming, as DVF has been an avid reader of the site’s editorial content, The Edit and Porter. They provide inspirational material for the the world’s fashionistas, which is very fitting for the extraordinary DVF.
