Everyone knows the model of the hour: Cara Delevingne. Not only is she in major campaigns all over the world, she’s a social media sensation, and even recently did some singing with Pharell Williams. However, she’s not stopping there! She has been appointed as the new contributing editor of Condé Nast’s Love magazine.

Delevingne announced the news herself via Instagram paired with a sexy black and white photo of herself from the Love shoot: “So happy to announce that I am a contributing editor for the new @thelovemagazine styling by @kegrandbodysuit by @riccardotisci17 #THANKYOU”

She is no stranger to Love. Katie Grand, the editor in chief of Love magazine, had met Cara before, during a shoot for a magazine back in 2009 and several times since. Now, Grand says, “I’ve always known that she’s an exceptionally bright, sharp and hilarious young woman. That’s why I was so keen to let her have this chance to exercise her skills as a journalist and writer. And she has proven herself to be a fearless interviewer, never afraid to ask all the questions we want to know the answers to.”

Delevingne will be joining Edie Campbell as one of the models/contributing editors for Love Magazine. She said she “loved the experience of being on the other side, asking the questions and having more directive control.” As the newest contributing editor, Delevingne will guest-edit the spring 2015 issue, which will be released on Feb. 9.

Delevingne also appears on one of the issue’s covers in a scandalous photo embracing model Kendall Jenner.

Whether it is modeling or now assisting the editorial process, we cannot wait to see what Cara does next!
