The awards at the 2014 Emmys were eerily similar to those at the 2013 Emmys, with Breaking Bad taking home the Emmy for Best Drama and Modern Family again winning for Best comedy. Yet, while there wasn’t much shock value in the awards that were given out, there was plenty to admire on the red carpet!
Red hues and sequins stole the show, specifically Sarah Hyland’s grand-slam maxi skirt by Christian Siriano and Hayden Panettiere’s sexy sequin gown by Lorena Sarbu that perfectly shows off her baby bump! Other dominate dress trends included halter tops, classy white column dresses, and plunging necklines. As for beauty trends on the red carpet, tousled bobs and middle parts were most prevalent for hair, pink manis for nails, and ear cuffs for jewelry!
