On Tuesday, Victoria’s Secret filmed their annual fashion show as it made its new debut in London, at Earls Court Exhibition Centre. Dozens of wings, hundreds of bronzed limbs, and miles of lace; the show seems nothing short of spectacular. From the pictures we have seen, it has us counting down the days for the show to air on TV. It will be airing on December 9th on CBS at 10 p.m.
The models gathered outside of the Victoria’s Secret flagship London store on Bond Street as they geared up for the big night. Angels included Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lindsay Ellingson, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel ready to lead the hottest of the hot down the runway.
Each year the VS angels strut down the runway to a different theme. This year the themes were Gilded Angels, Exotic Traveler, Dream Girl, Fairy Tale, University of Pink and Angel Ball.
This was the first show to feature not one, but two Dream Angels fantasy bras, each valued at about $2 million dollars! Alessandro Ambrosio and Adriana Lima were the lucky angels chosen to rock these down the runway.
Taylor Swift was the headliner for the show for the second year in a row, despite being criticized by supermodel Jessica Hart last year for “not fitting” the VS style, which clearly the brand disagreed with. Joining her to perform was Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Hozier, and we can’t wait to see all of these performances! Looks like the only thing that went wrong was Ariana Grande almost getting hit in the head with a pair of wings!
From what we have seen so far from the show, we are s excited to see the full show on the 9th! Make sure you tune in because you definitely don’t want to miss this!
