Day six of NYFW immediately captured our attention as virtually all of the designers utilized either slick satins or one of our favorite spring 2015 trends: Metallics. Badgley Mischka‘s 25th NYFW anniversary show shone especially brightly, along with Naeem Khan‘s attention-grabbing collection that we simply could not look away from. This season, meetallics are being used not only as accessories, but as accents (as seen in Tory burch) and even as full pieces (as seen in Diesel and Noon by Noor).
Day six did bring one new spring trend that was previously not emphasized, though: embellishments. Embellishments have been showcased sporadically throughout the week but day six confirmed the trend! Basically, spring 2015 is a time to become comfortable in your skin and learn to own your confidence, because all eyes will undoubtedly be on you if you rock these trends.
