This season, McQ by Alexander McQueen delved into the realm of amalgamating contradictory sides iconic to British youth subcultures : the punks and the mods. Created in unexpected fabrics and structures, most pieces in this seasons collection were surprisingly accessible and acceptable for street wear. Some of our favorite looks were McQ’s Kilts built into culotte silhouettes, wrinkled leathers, and the vibrant reds mixed with black and white. This season McQ has really found a look that works with the quickly changing British fashion scene.
