First off, thank you so much for taking time to talk to us!

Let’s begin by asking how did you know you wanted to be a stylist and how did you get to where you are today?

I discovered my love for styling and design when I was a captain on my high school dance team and also designed the costumes.

Were there ever any doubts in pursuing fashion and styling? Did you have a plan B or was this the only option?

Plan B was the Circus, until I realized I couldn’t do flips or tame tigers.

What was the biggest lesson you’ve learned in Hollywood?

That you will see EVERYONE again. Be Nice.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring fashion stylist?

Promote everything you touch on social media. People are watching, and sometimes its the people who will elevate your career.

What sites do you like to go on for inspiration?

Pinterest and Asos.

Celebrities such as Giuliana Rancic, Ashlee Simpson, and Gabourey Sidibe have been styled by you but what were some of your favorite looks to date that you’ve worked on?

I loved this Gabourey Sidibe look I did with Marcy Guevara. It embodied confidence at any size. It’s all about proportions!

Do you prefer styling men or women? Why?

They are two TOTALLY different things. Women, it’s all about showing off specific parts of the body. With men, it’s about sending a message through layers and proportions. There’s something about watching a Hollywood starlet walk the red carpet in something you put together, though.

Who are some of your top dressed celebrities today? (any celebrity not just personal clients)

Cate Blanchett. Gwyneth Paltrow. Emma Stone.

Which celebrities do you want to work with next?

I would love to work with other actresses with atypical body types.

Favorite fashion icons?

Balmain,  Ralph Lauren, and Levi Strauss.

Favorite fashion brands?

River Island and John Varvatos for men. Sachin and Babi and Celine for women.

Do you have any secret go-to stores or labels?

I pull a ton of stuff on Asos when I have a budget. Their pieces are amazing for such a great price.

What does every woman need in her wardrobe this season?

A bold colored skirt. Skater or pencil.

What should every woman throw out this season?

Pumps that look distressed from wear and tear.

Your most hated fashion trend in recent years?

Kitten heels.

Most loved?

Peplums.

What trend needs to make a comeback?

Leg warmers.

What’s the least stylish/most embarrassing garment or accessory in your closet?

Joe Boxer smiley face shorts.

Dozens of your clients have walked down the red carpet posing in beautiful outfits; what would be your tip to our readers for getting the best pose down?

Step one foot in front of the other and only put one hand on your hip. Be aware that we all have an invisible string attached to the tops of our heads. Pretend that someone is pulling it.

Favorite fashion quote?

“Fashion is made to become unfashionable.” -Coco Chanel It perfectly describes the hamster wheel that we are all running on.

What’s your fashion mantra?

Breathe! It’s just clothes.

Lastly, It’s 12 PM on Oscar Sunday and you find out your client and another celebrity on the red carpet are going to be wearing the same dress ( we pray to the fashion gods that won’t ever happen but let’s just pretend!) what do you do?

Be honest with my client and quickly alter our second favorite. There is always an answer!!
