Raf Simons has done it again. Another effortlessly, flawless collection that embodies the Dior vibe that Yves Saint Laurent brought to the brand in the 60’s. The looks are classic with a hint of edge which is what every Dior woman strives to be. When Simons was asked about his collection he descried it as “part church, part garden, part nightclub in Ibiza.” And we couldn’t disagree on that.
Calling the setting whimsical is an understatement. The show took place in an outdoor venue covered with bright colors, a purple grass runway and giant scaffolding holding flowers and stained glass. The dresses mirror the free flowing fairytale vibe with flowing fabrics down to the ankle with vibrant pinks, blues and greens mixed into the wonderland of a collection.
